1st Flash Giveaway Experience

So, while on facebook I see that my mission diaper fan page is having a flash giveaway on top of their 1000 fan contest. I wait ALL day until 8:00 pm so that I can finally win my BB diaper. I log into facebook ~ my big blunder? the flash giveaways started an hour ago ~ I did not take into account the different time zone!   I jump right in to the giveaways and I check for my name on the winners list for the 1000 fan giveaway. I do not see my name on that list!! That's okay, I still have the flash giveaways. I enter each flash giveaway by answering the posted questions ... I get excited, I am hoping it is me that wins that prize, the giveaway closes as she draws the names - only to be let down as my name is not called. This is mommy gambling! I realize that I am not a very good loser! I am far from giving up on my mission of getting a BB diaper but I have added to that ~ I am also entering every giveaway with prizes that I would appreciate just to see how long it takes me to actually win one. These giveaways are time consuming to enter ~ liking facebook pages, following blogs, tweeting, giving reviews etc. so I will squeeze some time out of my day to enter these ~ and we will see if I have any luck!

Sign Me Up!

I have wanted to start a blog for quite some time now. I could never get past the 1st post. How do you start a blog? How do you make it funny, witty and interesting enough to make people want to come back for more? What kind of blog do I want? Public, family and friends or just some cathartic journaling. Too much pressure! Then I came across a giveaway at the Not So Average Mama's blog that cured my first blog fears. How cool is her blog and the idea that people send her stuff to review then she gets to share that stuff with other people by having a giveaway. Now that sounds like fun. That is my blog inspiration! I could talk about my children all day so the idea that I could blog reviews about my children trying out great products - sign me up!! Of course there does not appear to be a sign me up option so while I figure that one out I entered every giveaway that I have ran into that featured a product that I would LOVE to win. My number one prize ~ cloth diapers. Lets see if I have any luck with those! I have entered EVERY giveaway I could find for a Blissful Booty cloth diaper ~ this is my current mission ~ to get my hands on a BB diaper. So far no success BUT I am not giving up. We shall see if I get my BB diaper =) If you cloth diaper than you understand my determination. Wish us luck!
